There's a ton of information about social media and SEO for business today.  The advice is wide and varied. You can find training on everything from "128 Ways To Get More Twitter Followers" to "Easy Steps To #1 Rankings On Google."

Although it's good to get advice about SEO and social media, it's better to get good advice that's based on experience from years of successes and failures. This social media and SEO boot camp will be an engaging, intensive, and detailed explanation of social media marketing and search engine optimization strategy and tactics with the goal of arming you to move forward in your own social media and SEO efforts.

The primary goal of the boot camp is that everyone walks away with a clear idea of how social media and SEO fits into their own business. By the end of the day attendees will have identified a specific social media strategy that works for them with the tactics that will help them carry out their plans. Attendees will also have a list of SEO tips and tricks they can begin implementing immediately on their website.

This event isn't just going to tell you what social media and SEO are. This boot camp will tell you how to use it so your business can increase leads, awareness, and engagement with the best people you want to be talking to.

Bill Seaver is the founder of MicroExplosion Media, a social media marketing consulting firm based in Nashville, Tenn. After spending many years in traditional marketing, Seaver left his role as the Executive Vice President for a marketing firm to focus solely on social media marketing.

For the last three years, Bill has spoken to thousands of people at seminars and training events about social media marketing. His clients range from non-profits and large businesses to entrepreneurs and entertainers. His goal is to help people understand what social media marketing is and adopt the right mindset needed to use it effectively. Bill is an active blogger and podcaster.

John W. Ellis is a frequent industry speaker and online contributor. He has spent most of his career as an “in-house” Online Marketing Manager. Working from this perspective has provided John with an understanding of high demand and budget concerns as it relates to marketing. Along with search marketing, daily activities often included managing budgets, presenting findings and recommendations to executive teams, and working through departmental conflicts. Bringing those items together provides John Ellis with the right combination of search marketing expertise.
